science experiment to the class explaining the concept of ‘variable.’
You
will:

Need a partner or a group of three – NO EXCEPTIONS

Research any simple experiment on the computers
·
Make sure you have all the materials (we can buy some for you
if necessary and inexpensive)
·
Perform the experiment exactly 3 times changing one item
(this is your ‘variable’)
·
Clearly explain the term ‘variable’ in your experiment while
you present
·
Formally demonstrate it to your classmates
·
State the question, hypothesis, materials, procedure,
observations, and conclusions to the best of your ability
· Don't need a written component – verbal only.
·
Be ready to present on Thursday, October 8, 2015.
Hint: keep it a simple experiment
like the first experiment we did in class with the small glass, water, and an
index card.
