Started January 26, 2017     *** NEW NOVEL STUDY combined with Drama

 “Be” the main character and act like and/or discuss him / her / it in detail.
 
Criteria:
 MAIN CHARACTER:
  • Character’s appearance clearly shown in what you wear and how you move, talk, and act.
  • Character’s personality traits are acted out/discussed as you present in class.
  • Act out what he/she does and/or says that makes him/her important in your novel (can include friends, relatives, enemies, and any relationships the character has with others in the book).

PROBLEM: Talk about the problem in the story.


RESOLUTION: Act out and explain how the character solves/does not solve the problem in the story.


MORAL: Show, by acting, how the character learns something (a lesson, moral, a theme) and describe what he/she learned.


RECOMMENDATIONS: Talk about whether you would recommend the novel for others to read.
