extra Christmas items that are not being used, please bring them to class all this week in
preparation for Thursday morning. MR. BARTRAW HAS A LOT OF ITEMS ALREADY, BUT
THE MORE OPTIONS, THE BETTER!
Items could include:
~ garland, ornaments, bells, craft foam, small tree boughs, pine cones, cotton balls, tinsel,
old XMAS lights, ... and ANYTHING that might make someone's sweater design UGLY!

AS IMPORTANT, if we could have 5 to 10 parent volunteers to help glue things on the sweaters using hot glue guns… that would be helpful!  If you are available on Thursday, December 20 from 9:00 to 11:30, please return this notice!

"What's In The Scenery?" Sensory Imagery Writing
Sensory details allow the reader to put themselves into your writing mentally by forming a picture in his/her mind. Without sensory details, the reader becomes bored and cannot emotionally connect to the story.

Sensory details include words that describe sights, sounds, textures, smells, and sometimes tastes of the setting, characters, and interactions.

Directions: Write powerful, image-creating sentences by looking at the image you printed out and adding sensory details. Make up additional details to construct new sentences.
………………………………………………
Mission Possible!
Your mission, which you must choose to accept, is this…
~Your writing begins with you exploring your biome (scene) that you selected. You will describe many parts with plenty of detail and near the end you realize that you are lost!
~Make the reader feel part of your writing!
………………………………………………………………………………………
I know you can do this!                   Use a thesaurus to help you.

…………*** We are at the editing and revising stages. ***……..…….
