Demo Science Experiment!
Goal: to demonstrate any simple
science experiment to the class explaining the concept of ‘variable.’
You
will:

Need a partner (or you may wish to try it alone)
·
Research a simple
experiment
·
Make sure you have all the materials
·
Perform the experiment three times changing ONLY one item
·
Change one material three times and clearly explain the
term ‘variable’ in your experiment
·
Formally demonstrate it to your classmates
·
State the question, hypothesis, materials, procedure, observations,
and conclusions to the best of your ability
·
Do not need a written component – verbal only.
·
Be ready to present, with all your materials on the morning of Thursday,
October 13, 2016.
Hint: keep it a simple experiment
like the first experiment we did in class with the small glass, water, and an
index card.
