• Arrival at 10am, return to Highlands at 2pm (unless otherwise indicated).
• We will walk to the upper South parking lot (by the toboggan hill).
Events include :
• Riparian planting.
• A variety of educational activities provided by local educators in a fun, experiential, outdoor setting.
• A lesson plan for future use.
What to bring:
• Enough parent chaperons to supervise class sizes. ANY PARENTS WHO WANT TO JOIN US... PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR AVAILABILITY WITH MR. BARTRAW.
• Recommend ratios = 1:10 for grades 4 and up.
• Water bottle.
• Litter free lunch.
• Warm, waterproof footwear.
• Be prepared for all weather, i.e. rain jacket, layers, warm coat, hats, extra socks, mittens, etc.
