November 27 to December 1

Important Dates:

**On NOVEMBER 30 at 9:30 am to 11:30am ...
we will be going to see the movie "Wonder"


Also on November 30 (from 1:50 to 2:45) it would 
be great if we could have as many parent volunteers 
as possible to help students with one-to-one 
conferencing. The goal will be to proofread and edit
our sensory imagery stories to make final 
improvements. You do not need to sign-up; please
just show up if you are available.

Reading: a variety of short stories, poems, and plays.

Writing: November is Sensory Imagery Writing month.
               ~ Daily writing, lessons... focus on writer's voice, 
                  word choice, variety of sentence lengths and 
                  beginnings, sentence structures, punctuation, 
                  and editing skills. 
Students have chosen a biome and will describe it in detail...

WE WILL BEGIN FORMAL SHARING NEXT WEDNESDAY...
STUDENTS WILL DRESS UP ACCORDING TO THEIR
CHARACTER AND APPROPRIATE TO THEIR CHOSEN BIOME.
