Bartraw’s class and Mrs. Archibald’s class are going on a field trip to Pines
Camp in Grand Forks, BC. The trip is a two day, one night, Outdoor Education
experience to build relationships, classroom co-operation, respect, and
teamwork.
**The
confirmed dates are Tuesday, June 26 to Wednesday, June 27, 2018.

Creative writing – Aboriginal storytelling animal legends.
Goal: create a short story of “How a ______________ got its

Use your spirit animal… like
how a turtle got its shell, or how the giraffe earned its long neck.
Use all your creative writing tools to inspire the students
to write and give some standard criteria for grade 4 / 5 levels. BC Performance
Standards for Writing … meaning, style, form, conventions.
