June 23 = Desk / class clean-up and pack things to take home in the morning... Fun Day (afternoon events).
June 26 = HES Fairmont Hot Springs School trip.
June 27 = Canoe Trip in Creston at the Discovery Center. The BUS LEAVES AT 8:40... be at HES by 8:30!
June 28 = Biking or hiking in the morning in the community forest... bring your bike and helmet. Board games in the afternoon. Bring a board game if you can!
June 29 = last day of school - 9am to 11am = assembly in the gym - get reports in class and have a great summer!

When I give students a spelling page to work at, they are studying spelling patterns. Instead of focusing all our attention on random words, we group and study words by common patterns. My
two favorite spelling books that help kids see the common patterns
words share are: 'Words Their Way' and 'Treasures Spelling Practice.' We are currently using TREASURES.
- Hand-in your TREASURES WW page on the last day of the week for grading... to see if the student understands the patterns for the week.
- TREASURES practice page / list words will always be in the agendas.
