What is the Heart to Heart Market?
 At Highlands School, we believe that local and global citizenship through helping others is part of our identity.

Every class at HES will be making some type of art piece or craft. These items may be purchased in increments of one dollar. Please do not bring in large dollar bill increments.

Students will get to go ‘shopping’ at the Market in the gym, with ALL proceeds going to a charity chosen by the student leadership council.

Instructions for typing out your story at your house.

1.  Go to the 'sd5.bc.ca' website. Click on 'SIGN IN' at the top.

2.  Click on “Office 365.” It will ask you to "sign in."

3.  Sign in using your # (the same # you use every day at school)... and email.

4. You are now in the portal! Your sound effects story will be there.

~Word Work - Unit 23 will be practiced this week. Complete all your work. 

                        - DUE DATES: hand-in your WW page on or before the last day of the week.

                      - list words will always be sent home on Mondays.
NEW in term two... Word Work will include a) editing practice / searching for errors,

b) multiple choice spelling page, and c) Boggle challenges and working with letter tiles to increase word generator skills and spelling skills.
