 May 10 - HES track and field day at COTR 400 m track for all intermediate students (more information to come as we get closer to the date)

May 15 & 16 -  Student-led conferences in our classroom! Early dismissal days - students are in school from 8:40 until noon. Conferences are from 1pm to 3pm. You may sign up next week. Stay tuned!

May 31 - online TEAMS Wetland lessons from experts! 12:15 to 1:15pm

June 4 - District Track and Field day for qualifying athletes

June 12 - Spring Music concert in gym at 1pm

June 19 - Field Trip to Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area ... Adaptations to Life in a Wetland and Canoe Tour

Criteria: Be A Perfect Person In Just Three Days!

 

Setting (where and when your story takes place… mainly)

- detailed enough to create an image in your head

- paints a clear picture with words.

 

Characters

- we gradually learn about all the characters, their personality,

   appearance, attitudes, relationships to other characters,

   BUT NOT ALL AT ONCE.

 

Events/Problem

- there is a clear problem in the story about being perfect or not

- the events flow in logical order without huge gaps.

 

Mechanics

- spelling, capitals, punctuation, grammar use is accurate

- work is edited and revised (improved)

- less than five errors overall are expected after proofreading on our laptops.

                        - Hand-in your WW page on or before Friday.

                      - list words will always be in the agendas.
                      - Unit #29 study all list words; TEST on Friday. 

Word Work will include Boggle challenges and working with letter tiles to increase word generator skills and spelling skills.
