Demo Science Experiment!
Goal: to demonstrate any simple
science experiment to the class explaining the concept of ‘variable.’
You
will:

Need a partner or a group of three – NO EXCEPTIONS
·
Research any simple experiment on the computers
·
Make sure you have all the materials (we can buy some for you
if necessary and inexpensive)
·
Perform the experiment exactly 3 times changing one item
(this is your ‘variable’)
·
Clearly explain the term ‘variable’ in your experiment while
you present
·
Formally demonstrate it to your classmates
·
State the question, hypothesis, materials, procedure,
observations, and conclusions to the best of your ability
· Don't need a written component – verbal only.
·
Be ready to present on Thursday, October 8, 2015.
Hint: keep it a simple experiment
like the first experiment we did in class with the small glass, water, and an
index card.

As a female lover of science, i personally love the blog post.its a modern way to use the blog as an assignment platform considering the demographic of the student population.in addition,the assignment is very insightful in terms of rational thinking and ensuring that the variables of the experiment work in all the different phenomena that they are placed in.this is a good teaching methodology.
