  Important Dates / Information: 

~ Feb 14th - VALENTINE'S DAY... Students may bring valentines for classmates. I'll give them all a class list.

~ Feb 16th - @ 1 to 1:30pm... Heart-2-Heart Market at school - BRING MONEY IN INCREMENTS OF $1 IF YOU WANT. YOU MAY DONATE MORE THAN THE MINIMUM $1!

NOTE: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BUY ANYTHING.

What is the Heart to Heart Market?
 At Highlands School, we believe that local and global citizenship through helping others is part of our identity.

Every class at HES will be making some type of art piece or craft. These items may be purchased in increments of one dollar. Students will get to go ‘shopping’ at the Market, with ALL proceeds going towards the ________ (to be announced).
 

 ~ Feb 16th - Family Dance in the evening hosted by the PAC! 

Feb 17th and 20th - no school.

Feb 23 - Talent Show at KEY CITY THEATER from 12pm to 2:30pm.

~ Feb 24th  - Pink Shirt Day / anti-bullying day - wear a pink shirt if  you have one.

                    - Assembly in the morning at 9am.

Desperate to learn to read, Olemaun badgers her father to let her go to the school for Inuit children in Canada's far north. She is warned that school may not be what she thinks it is.
